Manning Baptist To Observe Homecoming

Manning Baptist Church will observe homecoming Sunday, August 18. Services will begin with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. followed by morning worship at 10:45 a.m. Dinner will be served immediately following morning worship service.
Mrs. Nina Bradley will be the keynote speaker for the annual homecoming observance. She is a resident of Dillon, an employee of Dillon County Health Department and a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Clio.

At Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, she serves as an adult Sunday school teacher, vice-president of the senior choir, coordinator for Christian education, advisor for the Young Women’s Ministry, and coordinator of the kitchen staff.
She served ten years as president of the Berea Baptist Association’s Women District Missionary. She also worked in the association for twenty years as financial secretary and Miss Teen Pageant Advisor.
Currently, she is a member of the Women’s District Missionary Executive Board where she serves as chairperson and coordinator of the Associations Founder’s Day Banquet. She is also a member of Dillon County First Steps Board, the NAACP, Marlboro Inter-Agency Council, Dillon County Rural Area Leadership Initiative, Dillon School District 4 Comprehensive Health Committee, and Alpha Alpha Chapter, Alpha Pi Chi National Sorority.
Mrs. Bradley is a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School, Clio and a 1997 graduate of Coker College, Hartsville where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in sociology. She has further studied at St. Andrews College, Laurinburg, NC and Livingston College Extension, Florence.
She is the daughter of the late John and Julia Johnson Meekins and is married to John Bradley. The Bradleys are proud parents of two children, John and Tammy. They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
