Dear Editor:
Thank you for the good publicity you gave us for our Salkehatchie Harvest Camp Week of July 6-13. The picture of the 75 campers and their adult supervisors you ran on the front page was very helpful.
We also received much help from a number of churches, businesses, and individuals and I would like to acknowledge our appreciation to them with this letter. Through their week of hard work in the heat and humidity, the Salkehatchie team was able to make significant structural improvements in seven homes of needy families in the area. Our church was proud to be the sponsoring church for this most worthwhile project.
