A shooting occurred in the Lake View are about 1:15 a.m. on Monday at a location on Lovell Road, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
He said some individuals in an invasion type crime confronted an individual who was ultimately shot. The victim is a 40-year-old male. Arnette said this is believed to be a robbery.
