Services for Cecil Tyler will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Tyler, 81, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, July 30, 1931, he was the son of the late Cecil Tyler, Sr. and Mary Frances Bailey Tyler. He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and was retired from DuPont.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Tyler of Dillon; daughter, Dawn Tyler of Dillon; grandchildren, Tyler Hutto and Brittaney Jackson; great-grandchildren, Matthew Hutto and Noah Hutto; brothers, Herbert Tyler of Greenville, SC, and Jimmy Tyler of Hartsville, SC.
