Manning Baptist Church observed Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Mrs. Ethel McRae was recognized as Manning Baptist Church Mother of the Year for 2013.
For this recognition, she was presented a beautiful plaque.
Mrs. McRae became a member of Manning Baptist Church in 1938. She has always been faithful and loyal to Manning Baptist Church. Through her Christian beliefs she demonstrates her love of God through her relationship with everyone. Kindness, love, and faithfulness are her armor which she reflects as she lets her light shine daily. She is always willing to help those in need.
Mother McRae exemplifies through her life, the love of God, as well as, love for her fellowman. She says that she places God first in her life and her motto is, “God will provide, so I won’t complain.”
The speaker for the morning worship service was Evangelist Michelle Douglas, first lady of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Bishopville, South Carolina.
