Services for William T. Smith will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Dillon with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Smith, 84, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Daniel Smith and Kate Morrison Smith. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and was retired from CSX Railroad.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lucille Smith of Dillon; sons, Tommie (Lois) Smith of Anderson, SC, and Donnie (Sheila) Smith of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Ruth Smith Harbin, Emily Smith, and Corey Smith; 2 great-grandsons.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, William Brian Smith; and his grandson, Adrian Smith.
