Latta’s Lady Vikings defeated Lake View’s Lady Wild Gators 7-5 tonight to secure the region title and a spot in the Class A softball playoffs.
Latta, Hannah-Pamplico, Johnsonville, and Green Sea-Floyds each finished region play with a 4-4 record, and Latta’s win gives the Lady Vikings the region title. Johnsonville will finish second, Green Sea-Floyds third, and Hanna-Pamplico will take the fourth seed slot in the playoffs.
