On Thursday, both Dillon teams traveled to Waccamaw, where both teams took losses from the Warriors. The Lady Wildcats fell 5-4, while the boys took an 11-1 loss in varsity baseball action.

The Lady Wildcats are now 15-2 overall and 7-1 in Region 8-A in varsity softball. The Wildcat boys are now 8-3 overall and 6-2 in the region.

The Dillon ladies were scheduled to host Lake View on Monday, and both Dillon teams will be at Aynor tonight at 6:30 p.m. Aynor is currently at the top of the region in baseball action with Dillon giving the Blue Jackets their only region loss of the season, so a win for the Wildcats could help decide the region championship.
