City Council Hears Several Matters

The Dillon City Council covered several matters at their monthly meeting.
Mayor Todd Davis reported that there was no money left right now in the facade grant fund. He said this had been well-received.
All of the lights are up on the outdoor walking track. They need to connect the power. All of the benches should be in shortly.
The city is around the 75 percent mark on the budget, and they are working n the new budget. One item being considered is employee raises of $750.
This would be about .36 cents per hour on an hourly employee.
Other items discussed were the golf course, an issue with the Perdue line, and whether to charge owners of rental property a business license. Currently, the city does charge a business license.
