Services for James Grady “Jimmy” Rowell were held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rowell, 73, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, April 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Daniel Frank Rowell and Mary Blanche Ingram Rowell.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Rowell of Hamer; children, Susie (Robin) Coleman of Latta, David (Denise) Rowell of Latta, Evelyn Rowell of Hamer, and Gloria (Dean) Ard of Latta; 6 grandsons; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Vera Rowell; brother-in-law, Earl Norton; numerous nieces and nephews; special nephew and niece, John & Judy Rowell.
