Dillon First Baptist Church held a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on December 24th. Prelude to worship was by Katharine Moody. The call to worship, “Emmanuel, Hallowed Manger Ground,” was held followed by the Christmas carol, “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” Christmas greetings were by Pastor Dickie Cullum. The lighting of the Christ Candle was by the Billy Massengale family. The scripture reading was by MacKenzie Miller, The Christmas story, Luke 2:1-20. The message in song, “Christmas Is Jesus,” was performed by the children’s choir. Then “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” was sung. This was followed by a Christmas meditation by Pastor Cullum. Then Ashlyn Hatcher performed “A Baby Changes Everything.” The lighting of the candles was held followed by the benediction by Pastor Cullum. The parting chorus was “Joy To The World.” A live nativity was also held. See the video and photo gallery below.
