Dillon High School held a special awards ceremony on Monday, December 3, to honor the Dillon Wildcats for their Class A, Division I state title win. The Wildcats defeated the Fairfield Central Griffins 21-6 on Friday, November 30 to claim their third title in five years.
Principal Shawn Johnson of Dillon High School and Superintendent Ray Rogers of Dillon District 4 presented cheerleaders, players, and coaching staff with medals. The band was also recognized for uplifting the spirit of the entire student body throughout the entire season and for being present at every home game. Head Coach Jackie Hayes also received special recognition.
The entire staff and student body of Dillon High School were in attendance for the ceremony.
