Latta – Henry Clyde Morrell, 89, died in his home in Latta, SC, November 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. graveside, Friday, November 16, 2012 in Alford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Mr. Morrell was born in Timmonsville, SC, April 2, 1923, the son of the late Louie and Minnie Hill Morrell. He was member of Latta Presbyterian Church and Dalcho Masonic Lodge #160 in Latta, SC. He owned and operated Morrell Tire Service, Inc. in Latta, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Chandler Morrell of the home; a son, Richard (Dollie) Morrell of Latta, SC; a daughter, Sherrill (Mac) Gaddy of Dillon, SC; and grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Lyles, Austin (Ali) Morrell, and Chandler Morrell. He was predeceased by a son Sammy Morrell.
