Services for William W. “Bill” Douglas will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held 7:30-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Douglas, 75, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in McColl, SC, May 12, 1937, he was the son of the late John S. Douglas and Maude Mishue Douglas. He was retired from Dixiana Mills after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sara McKenzie Douglas of Dillon; son, Randy Douglas of Dillon; daughter, Lori Ann Bullock (Billy Ray Berry) of Dillon; grandsons, John Michael Bullock and Douglas Neil Bullock; nieces, Kathy (Wayne) Pittman, and Robin (Rob) Sims; nephews, Stevie (Rita) Young, Jerry Douglas, Preston Douglas, Wayne (Pam) Douglas; many great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by his brother, Roland Douglas; and his sister, Myrtle Brewer.
The family would like to thank McLeod Medical Center, and also Dr. Granville Vance with Dillon Family Medicine for the care given to Mr. Bill.
