The Mount Calvary Brotherhood, WMU, and BYU met on Monday, Oct. 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the Family Life Center.
After a delicious meal and Christian fellowship, the groups divided.
Rev. Ron Taylor of the Pee Dee Baptist Association was the Brotherhood guest speaker. His topic was from Acts, Chapter 7.
Rev. Taylor stressed that the modern American Church is lacking the role of men in the churches.
Some men in the churches state “if it weren’t for the women in our churches, what would we do?”
Men need to step up in our churches.
God has called men to be the leaders of the churches and families.
Rev. Taylor challenged all men to do as the Bible instructs us. Mount Calvary Baptist Church is located at 405 Mount Calvary Road, Dillon.
