Eunice Anderson

Funeral service for Eunice Miller Anderson, 90, were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Boyce Chapel, Columbia, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family received friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the church service in Boyce Chapel.  Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Anderson went to be with her Lord and Savior  Thursday, September 6, 2012.  Born in Lakeview, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Elias Johnson and Delana Horne Miller.
She attended Appalachian State University and worked at the University of South Carolina for 10 years in the Engineering Department.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia and a member of the Deborah-Agape Women’s Class.
She enjoyed gardening, music and loved being with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Dayton Anderson; son, David (Suzette) Anderson; daughter, Faye (Jim) Brodeur; son-in-law, Barry Molik, all of Columbia; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lide (Hazel) Miller, Ernest Miller, both of Lakeview and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Gayle Anderson Molik; sisters, Louise Miller, Blondelle Flowers, Rosalee Goodnight and brother, Wade Hampton Miller.
A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Caroline Warlick and Tammy Smith.  Also, special thanks to the Palmetto Richland Hospice and oncology staff that cared for her during her final days.
