A fatality occurred on Hwy. 301 North near the Relax Inn earlier tonight (Wednesday). The Herald is told that a pedestrian walked onto Hwy. 301 and was struck by a vehicle and killed. No further details were available.
Also, a hit and run occurred on Oakland Road; however, The Herald’s has received information that there is no injury in this wreck.
