The Warriors are off to 2-0 lead in the Quarters Basketball League after the first weekend of play.
The Warriors defeated both the Quarter Kingz and Tru Blood to become the only undefeated team in the league. Nick’s Crew, Jacksonville, Newtown, Tru Blood, and the Kingz all finished the opening weekend with a 1-1 record. Hamer and Latta went winless.
This weekend, the league will playing on Saturday, September 1, beginning with junior league action at 12:05 p.m. The adult league begins at 4:05 with the Warriors taking on the Newtown Trojans. Game two will pit Hamer against the Quarter Kingz, and game three will feature Tru Blood against Nick’s Crew. The Jacksonville Gambinos will close out the action against the Latta Bobkats at 7:05 p.m.
On Sunday, the junior league will kick things off at 1:05 with Tru Blood taking on the Warriors at 4 p.m. in the adult league. Nick’s Crew will take on Hamer on 5:05, the Quarter Kingz will face Latta at 6:05, and Jacksonville will tangle with Newtown at 7:05 p.m.
