Services for Douglas Bryan Arnette will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Arnette, 69, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, December 6, 1942, he was the son of the Irene Hyatt and the late Fred Hyatt. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and was the owner of Arnette’s Septic Tank Company. He was the widower of the late Betty Jean Martin Arnette.
Survivors include his companion, Joyce Rogers of Dillon; mother, Irene Hyatt of Dillon; sons, Tracy (Wanda) Arnette, Lloyd (Christy) Arnette, both of Dillon, and Timothy Arnette of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Renata Gibson of Bennettsville; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; special step-children, Christy McDowell, Kathy Allen, Lisa Lovett, and Dawn McDowell.
