The Col. E. T. Stackhouse Camp 1576 of Latta recently held their annual memorial service.
This service was held at Latta’s Veterans Park and was to honor our Confederate Veterans. There were over 85 people in attendance for the event which included two guest speakers and a wonderful meal afterwards.
An artillery salute and a 3 volley musket salute followed by Taps were performed by the newly formed 7th Brigade Honor Guard.
The camp also had five new members sworn in a the ceremony, the members took the oath from camp Lt. Commander Archie Herring and were pinned by the South Carolina Lt. Commander Ken Thrasher.
