The McLeod Cancer Center will host its Annual Cancer Survivor’s Day Celebration on Saturday, June 9, 2012, in the cafeteria of McLeod Regional Medical Center at 9 a.m.
McLeod Oncologist Dr. Michael D. Pavy will speak to the survivors on the new McLeod Cancer Center scheduled to open in 2013. The celebration will also include breakfast, door prizes and fellowship.
The event is held in June each year to coincide with National Cancer Survivor’s Day.
McLeod annually hosts Cancer Survivor’s Day to honor the continued survivorship of cancer survivors in the region.
All cancer survivors in the region are welcome and invited to attend.
