DARLINGTON – Doris Sanderson Cirsosky, 72, of Darlington, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, in a Florence hospital after an illness.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Florence. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
She was born in Dillon, SC, a daughter of the late James Ellory and Lessie Jane Sanderson. She graduated from Lake View High School and the Carolina School of Commerce in Florence. She was a retired secretary and tax preparer.
Mrs. Cirsosky was an avid bowler and secretary of Knockdowners Bowling League.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul F. Cirsosky; and five brothers, James Sanderson, Carl Sanderson, Rufus “Sandy” Sanderson, Mendel Sanderson, and J. W. Sanderson.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa M. Cirsosky of Darlington and Lynn C. (Michael) Hanna of Florence; and a sister, Jane S. Ledford of Union, SC.
