Services for Shirley Carter will be held Monday at 3:00 P.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 Sunday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Carter, 68, died Saturday at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, July 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lane and Maggie Turner Lane. She was a member of the Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Carter of Dillon; daughter, Peggy Garner of Dillon; grand daughter, Shanna McDaniel of Dillon; sisters, Ida Mae Caulder of Dillon and Lois (Bill) Smith of Asheboro, N.C.; brothers, Raymond (Brenda) Lane of Dillon and Grady (Hazel) Lane of Fair Bluff, N.C.; special sister in law, Gail (Skip) Broadway of Arkansas; She was preceded in death by her brothers, Armond Lane and Major Lane.
