Services for Janet Tyndall White will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. White, 78, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living in Conway.
Born in Dillon County, May 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Tyndall and Janie Brumble Tyndall. She was raised in the Temperance Hill Community, and was a lifelong resident of Latta. She was a member of Latta Baptist Church, and was the widow of the late Joe Edward White.
Survivors include her brother, Cecil Tyndall of Latta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her brother, Carlyle Tyndall; and her sisters, Kathleen T. Lane and Thelma T. McKenzie.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
