Mrs. Lillian Nettles Beucus, age 55, of Roanoke, VA, passed away peacefully May 6, 2012. She was born in Marion SC on December 17, 1956. She was the daughter of William and Anne Nettles. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Abraham John Beucus V and her son, Abraham John Beucus VI, as well as her sisters Evelyn N. Brown, Sandy N. Catlett, Pearl Nettles, and her brother William E. Nettles, Jr. Lil was a graduate of Latta High School in 1975 and had also earned an Associates of Science Degree of Administrative Office Professional from National College in 2008. She was employed at United Health Care Group as a Customer Service Representative for the past 9 years. She also served as Secretary to the North Lakes Civic League. Lil was a devoted wife and mother and spent time caring for her family and home. She contributed many hours to community charity work at the Roanoke Catholic Rescue Mission and other work
related charitable functions. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Floyd Dale River Bridge Landing. The family will be receiving friends at the home place after the service.
