Dillon’s Lady Wildcats took a 5-3 loss from Hanahan on Monday night in the second round of the Class AA Lower State playoffs.
The Lady Wildcats were scheduled to host Andrews on Wednesday night to stay alive in the playoffs. Dillon previously defeated Andrews 2-0 on Saturday, but Andrews edged Aynor 6-5 on Monday to stay alive in the playoffs.
The winner of the game will face Hanahan on Friday, May 11, for the Lower State Championship. The Lady Hawks have dropped only one game so far in the playoffs, falling 2-3 to Waccamaw in game one of the District VI playoffs.
