Services for Esther R. Norton will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little Rock Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Norton, 76, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, May 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frank Rowell and Blanche Ingram Rowell. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Norton of Little Rock; children, Earline (Larry) Grimsley, Bonnie (Dwayne) Bowers, Donald Norton, Danny (Cindy) Norton, Tim (Tammy) Norton, and Ellen Norton, all of Little Rock, and James Earl Norton, Jr. of Florence; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Rowell of Hamer.
