Blanche Pennell Ford Richardson, 86, died at the McLeod Regional Medical Center in Dillon Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, April 27, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Mrs. Richardson was born May 1, 1925 in Blowing Rock, NC, the daughter of the late Cloy and Effie Lewis Pennell. She was the widow of her first husband, Henry Carl Ford and her second husband, William Richardson. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Conway, SC. She retired as a Retail Sales Clerk with Abram’s Department Store in Conway, SC.
She is survived by her son, Cloy G. (Robin) Ford of Lake View, SC; her daughters, Irene F. (Sid) Greene and Carlene F. Moody both of Blowing Rock, NC; eight grandchildren, Amanda Ford, Megan Ford, Lisha Deal, Tammy Hurley, Vivian Meadows, Aaron Johnson, Frankie Johnson, and Melissa Campbell; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter, Billie Ann Greene and a granddaughter, Kristi Moody.
