Mr. Joe Barfield died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at his home in Lake View after an illness.
A graveside service will be April 8, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cooke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Barfield was born on June 1, 1942, the son of the late James Clifford and Magnolia Moody Barfield.
Surviving Mr. Barfield is a brother, Hayes Barfield (Melanie) of Lake View: Sisters, Patty Barfield Nobles of Lake View, Ann Barfield of Lake View, Ruth Barfield Strickland of Lake View, Faye Barfield of Lake View, and Betty Miller (Wayne) of Dillon.
