Lake View’s Wild Gators picked up a win over Green Sea-Floyds on Tuesday in baseball action, but the Lady Gators fell to the Trojans in softball.
The Wild Gators shut out the Trojans 3-0 with Nate Lewis picking up the win on the mound, striking out 12 and allowing just four hits and three walks.
Chris Ford went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run to lead Lake View at bat. Nate Lewis went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Justin Elliott went 1-for-1 with one run scored.
It was a different story on the softball field as the Lady Trojans shut out Lake View 6-0.
Kayla Sanderson took the loss for the Lady Gators, while Green Sea-Floyds Hope Elliot picked up the win.
The Wild Gators improved to 3-0 in the regular season, while the Lady Wild Gators are now 0-2.
The Lady Gators were scheduled to play at South Robeson on Wednesday.
On Friday, both Lake View teams will be hosting Johnsonville at 5:30 p.m., and on Monday, the Lady Wild Gators will travel to Dillon for a 5:00 p.m. double header against the Lady Wildcats. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!
