Dillon’s boys tennis team took on West Florence on Tuesday but were swept 6-0 by the Knights.
In singles action, Benjamin King defeated Dillon’s Jacob Stagg, Weston Bates defeated Dillon’s Kelly Jacob, Taylor Jones defeated Daryl Miller, John Fulp defeated Xzavier Williams, and Billy Holland defeated Carlton Graham. Each game saw West Florence sweep Dillon 6-0.
In doubles, West Florence’s Mason McLamb and Matthew Marechal defeated Dillon’s Jonta Washington and Drew Covington 6-0, 6-0.
West Florence’s record is now 1-0 while the Wildcats starts the season 0-1.
