Marie Powers Wiggins, 75, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with burial in Hopewell Cemetery in Fork. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born in Latta, SC, August 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Timmons Wilkes and Lady Powers. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, and was the widow of the late Jeff Wiggins.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Yarborough of Oak Grove, Beverly Davis of Bennettsville, and Billie Jo Wiggins of Latta; sons, Rodney “Hotrod” Wiggins of Sellers, and Keith Wiggins of Spring Branch; brother, E.J. Kersey of Graham, NC; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Wiggins; son, James Yarborough, sisters, Virgie Coates and Francis Hatchell.
