Sandra Cheryl Canning, 50, died at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC, January 18, 2012. Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Dillon Congregational Holiness Church with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Ms. Canning was born in Dillon County, January 18, 1962, the daughter of the late Edward James and Doris Jean Brown Moody. She was a retired Health Care Provider and a Homemaker. She enjoyed knitting and taking care of her dogs and cats, but she really loved all animals.
She is survived by her husband Dennis W. Fowler of the home; her son, Patrick (Laura) Pittman and daughter, Lacosta P. (Jermemy) Rothal both of Seneca, SC; her brothers, James A. Moody of Augusta, GA, Roger (Teresa) Moody of Dillon, SC, and Bobby Moody of Dillon, SC; her sister Ashley Cook of Dillon, SC; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Moody.
