These photos are the result of a photo project by local photographer Art Shealy called the Dillon County Ditch Bank series. They are all “volunteer” flowers that he has found growing on the highway and byways of Dillon County. “It simply amazes me that such color and occasional wildlife in the form of bees, or butterflies, or skippers can be found in our county if we only take a moment or two to look at them,” Shealy said.
