Students at South Elementary recently rang in the new year during RIF Day. Students were allowed to choose a book of their very own to add to their home libraries. Students also thought of ways they could improve themselves during the new year and recorded their thoughts on bells to be displayed at the library. RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is encouraging reading at an early age through the distribution of books. Pictured are Anne Ndayishimiya and Ty’Quaz Stanley.
