Services for Ruby Hesteen Jackson were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Hamer Church of God with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. Jackson, 71, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Georgetown, SC, September 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Coley L. Evans and Ruby Mae Stone Evans. She was a member of Hamer Church of God, and was retired from Dixiana Mills.
Survivors include her children, Debra A. (James) Hulon of Marion, Gerald O. (Angela) Jackson of Hamer, and Teresa J. Anderson of Hamer; sisters and brothers, Kathleen Berry of Hamer, Ora Lee (John D.) Flowers of Hamer, Ellen Rouse of Hamer, G.L. (Joyce) Evans of Florence, Ray (Diana) Evans of Hamer, Alinda (Jerry) Craig of Hamer, Kenneth L. (Sandra) Evans of Darlington; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
