North Beats South 42-3

The North was victorious this past weekend as they defeated the South 42-3 in the SCADA North-South All-Star Football Game, held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Seneca High School’s Chris Robinson scored on two one-yard runs and Jordan Hallums caught two touchdown passes to lead the North in the win. Robinson was named the North offensive MVP. Greer quarterback Reese Hannon completed 5 of 11 for 55 yards and two scores.

The North had 303 yards in total offense, while the South had only 108. The South turned the ball over seven times and had five interceptions.

Among the players for the South were Dillon’s Kevin Lynch and Archie Gilchrist on defense. Lynch had five tackles and an interception, and Gilchrist made two tackles.

Myrtle Beach’s Tyler Knox led the South team with 10 tackles and was named the team’s defensive MVP.
