Kenneth Earl Carter, Sr., 68, of Supply, NC died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Carter was born June 26, 1943 in Dillon, SC, to Isabell Hamilton Carter of Shallotte, NC and the late Ezra Carter. He was the owner and operator of Bowman Place. Mr. Carter was an active member and past Commander of Shallotte River Sail & Power Squadron. He was preceded in death by his first wife Martha Ellen Carter and a sister.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife, Linda D. Carter; two sons, Kenneth E. Carter, Jr., of Supply, NC and Keith Eric Carter of Kissimmee, FL; two grandchildren, Sidney Marie Carter and Bailey Eric Carter.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 10:00 AM, in the Brunswick Islands Baptist Church by the Reverend Rudra Ramphal.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
