45 Stewart Heights Students Pass All Three Parts of PASS Test

Forty-five students that attended Stewart Heights Elementary School last year passed all three parts of the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) test.
In recognition of their excellent work, pizza parties were held in their honor at Gordon on October 10-11, 2011. Jayne C. Lee, principal, Robin Floyd, Title 1 Facilitator, and Jackie Smith, Title 1 Computer Proctor, hosted the P.T.O. sponsored parties for the deserving students.
Twenty-four girls were invited to the party on Monday and twenty-one boys were invited to the party on Tuesday. During each of the parties, Mrs. Lee explained to the students that they had done extremely well and that they had scored Exemplary or Met on all three parts of the PASS test. She thanked the students for their efforts and encouraged them to do the same on their fourth grade PASS test.
After pizzas were served, the students received medals and score sheets in recognition of their exemplary work.
