Although Latta took a bruising 40-0 loss to Hemingway last weekend, there was no shortage of Viking spirit going around on Friday, October 7.
Among other things, the Vikings celebrated senior night and enjoyed a tailgate barbecue by Latta Recreation Coordinator Ann Jackson, who gave away 100 barbecue sandwiches with iced tea and cakes.
During the half-time show, the Viking cheerleaders released pink balloons in memory of cancer patients and in honor of cancer survivors.
Also during half-time, two recreation teams played a short scrimmage game between Nolan Transport and Subway of Marion.
Tonight Latta will be playing at Lake View at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to come out to support our local teams!
