Services for Jimmy Lee “Butch” Carter will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Carter, 63, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, September 5, 1948, he was the son of the late Wilson Carter and Annie Bridges Carter. He was a retired Painter.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carter of Dillon; daughter, Linda Sanmartin of Dillon; son, Jimmy Carter of Dillon; grandchildren, A.J. Sanmartin, and Jessica Carter; sisters, Gladys Carter of Dillon, Patricia Gonzalez of Richmond Hill, GA, Judy Carter of Darlington, and Shirley Nichols of Kentucky; brothers, Roy Carter of Bennettsville, Danny Carter of Dillon, Tony Carter of Kentucky, and Buddy Carter of Dillon.
