Ernest David McKenzie, 66, died in the Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, SC, August 9, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 11, 2011, in the Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC. with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. in Kannaday Funeral Home.
Mr. McKenzie was born June 1, 1945 a son of the late Gladys Parker and David Marion McKenzie. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sisters: Emily (Joe) Hood from Blenheim, SC, and Kathy Jean (Kenneth) Owens of Latta, SC; and one brother, Maurice Eugene (Diane) McKenzie of Latta, SC. He was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Faye McKenzie.
