Three Arrested In Robbery-Shooting At Porky’s Truck Stop

Three have been arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting at Porky’s Truckers’ Store on Saturday, according to the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Detective Cliff Arnette said that Dakota Taylor, age 21, Dillon, and Jeffrey A. Taylor, age 19, Hamer, were arrested and charged with attempted murder and armed robbery. Sheriff Major Hulon said that Jameka Evans has also been charged in the case. Evans is currently charged with obstruction of justice, according to the Dillon County Detention Center.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Saturday night when the store was robbed and the clerk was shot. SLED Crime Scene was called in to assist. Arrests in the case were made on Monday and Tuesday, according to law enforcement officials. Sheriff Major Hulon said these arrests came about due to good teamwork and a good team effort. He said all of the officers pitched in a helped run down leads and this is why they were able to do what they did. More charges are expected in this case.
