Services for Catherine Smithy Christmas will be held Monday at 1:00 P.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Inabinet officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 Sunday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Christmas, 87, passed away peacefully at her home with her children by her side on Friday December 10, 2010.
Born in Dillon County, February 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late David Cameron McDaniel and Isabelle Lewis McDaniel. She was the widow of the late Oliver Christmas and was a member of the Dillon First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Kameron (Joe) Browne of Dillon; sons, Joel Christmas of Scottsville, KY., Carroll (Marcia) Christmas of Brunswick, GA., and David (NIcole) Christmas of Dillon; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Christmas was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Olivia Brown.
