Marion Duncan Lee, 87, died Friday, November 19, 2010 in the Mullins Nursing Center in Mullins, SC. Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Funeral services in Union Baptist Church will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Marie Lane and Monroe Duncan of Marion, SC. She was married to the late Grady Lee. She was a life long member of Union Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for sixty years plus, was a member of the choir, and a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. She was a devoted Wife, loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Survivors include her two sons, Grady (Ann) Lee, Jr. of Aberdeen, NC and Curtis (Mabel) Lee of Latta, SC; two daughters, Sylvia L. Dawson of Mullins, SC and Gwendolyn L. Hartson of Pinehurst, NC; one brother, LeGrande Duncan of Denver, CO.; eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister, Gladys D. Ford, her brother, Haskell A. Duncan, one grandchild, Mark Dawson, and two great grandchildren, Ryan Michael Lee and Rodrick Dustin Lee.
The family gives special thanks to the Marion Nursing Facility and the Mullins Nursing Center.
