Kirby Honored With FMU Alumni Award

Francis Marion University honored Michael A. Blue (’85) as its 2017 Outstanding Alumnus at the university’s annual Alumni Awards Gala. Dr. John M. Kirby, Jr. received the Professional Industry Achievement Award in Education and Arts.

Lake View Middle Academic Challenge Wins Regional Tournament

On Saturday, February 18, 2017, the Grades 6-8 Lake View High School Academic Challenge Team, won top honors in the Pee Dee Regional Academic Challenge Tournament held on the campus of Francis Marion University, qualifying them for the state tournament to be held in Camden on March 16, 2017.
