Graveside services for Henry McDowell were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2020 in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. McDowell, 88, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, July 17, 1932, he was the son of the late Grady McDowell and Addie Jackson McDowell. He was a member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary Lewis McDowell of Dillon; sons and daughters, Jack McDowell of Missouri, Brenda Galauner of St. Charles, IL, Janet McDowell of Aurora, IL, Libby Coyne of St. Charles, IL, Peggy Sue McDowell of Aurora, IL, and Charles McDowell Huggins of Dillon; step-sons, Rick Carlson, George Carlson, and Alan Carlson; sister, Louise Watts of Florence.
