Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” McMillan Hyatt, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, October 7, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Wade McMillan, Jr. and Joyce Stevens McMillan. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was the widow of the late Ernest Hyatt. She was a devout Christian, and prayer warrior. Cindy loved people, and during her working years she was a medical transcriptionist for years, and she was a secretary at various different churches and schools.
Memorial services were held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery Mausoleum. The service was live-streamed on Cooper Funeral Home’s Facebook® page, and the family had an FM transmitter available to those who stayed in the car for the service.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Brunson & Brian Lear of Marion and Phillip & Ashley Brunson of Latta; grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Damon Lear, Olivia, Riley, and Jillian Brunson; fur babies, Max & Izzy; brothers, Wade McMillan of Holden Beach, NC and Steven & Lisa McMillan of Dillon; several loving nieces and one nephew.
Cindy and her mother, Joyce, entered the pearly gates together.
