Services for Vera Wilkerson Rowell were held 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Little Rock Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rowell, 84, died Friday, May 31, 2019 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, March 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dudley Wilkerson and Viola Hulon Wilkerson. She was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Roger (Becky) Rowell of Florence, SC, Brenda (Gary) Cushing of Dillon, Steve (Betty) Rowell of Florence, SC, Sharon (Neil) Graham of Jamestown, Kentucky, Edna (Tim) Bourgoin of Little Rock, Donell (Valerie) Rowell of Dillon, Gilbert (Angie) Rowell of Dillon, Christine (Christopher) McKenzie of Latta, Tim (Ashley) Rowell of Hartsville, SC; brother, James (Maria) Wilkerson of Valrico, Florida; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rowell was preceded in death by her husband, Legrant Rowell; daughter, Vera Ann Rowell; brothers, Pete and Richard Wilkerson.
