Carolina Academy left Dillon on Friday, October 19, with a 26-13 win over the Dillon Christian School Warriors.
With 4:22 remaining in the first quarter, Carolina Academy’s Tyson Brown raced 40 yards for the first score of the game. A 2-point conversion attempt failed. With only 1:04 remaining in the second quarter, the Warriors’ Gage Bazemore hit a 38-yard field goal. Dillon Christian School’s Gage Bazemore got the Warriors to within 1 point of the visiting Carolina Academy team when he connected on a 29-yard field goal with 5:08 remaining in the third quarter.

Carolina Academy’s Tyson Brand rushed for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 carries and caught 2 passes for 31 yards while Shay Hall carried 13 times for 133 yards. Hall also completed 6 of 14 passes for 78 yards. George Wilder picked up 47 yards on 12 carries and caught a pass for 21 yards. Matthew Joye caught 2 passes for 27 yards.
